Virtual Locum Opportunities Are Now Available

LOCVM now supports virtual locum opportunities across Canada. Facilities can now post remote opportunities directly through the platform, and physicians can search and apply to virtual roles the same way they would for in-person coverage. When creating a posting, simply select “Virtual” as the work arrangement and complete the remote work details. Virtual opportunities can include:

• Telemedicine coverage
• Virtual consultations
• Remote follow-ups
• Asynchronous clinical work

Each posting can also specify:

• Eligible provinces
• Type of virtual work
• Remote interaction style
