The LOCVM Story
2024August 2024
LOCVM Inc. is incorporated in August. By fall, the first version of LOCVM is built and testing begins.
April 2025
LOCVM launches in beta across Ontario in April, and the first locum is posted on the platform.
June 2025
LOCVM forms its Medical Advisory Council with 8 physicians from across Canada. The Ontario Medical Association features LOCVM as a locum resource on its website.
2025Winter 2025
By the end of the year, LOCVM's community is 7x larger than at launch. Physicians and clinics post 50+ new locums and start dozens of conversations about coverage.
March 2026
The TMU School of Medicine awards LOCVM a Dean's Summer SRCI Project grant to study locum coordination.
May 2026
The Ontario College of Family Physicians features LOCVM for World Family Doctor Day. LOCVM presents its research at the OntarioMD Digital Health Conference.
September 2026
LOCVM's users grow 8x in its first year, and today the community is 18x larger than at launch. LOCVM closes its first funding round, backed by physicians as strategic angels, expands across Canada, and welcomes its first employees.
